About the Presenters

Adrian Ott, Award-Winning Author and CEO, Exponential Edge Inc.
Global CMO recently recognized Adrian on their 50 Marketing Thought Leaders To Know list. Adrian and her team assist visionary senior executives to capture trending market opportunities, organize marketing for success, and build go-to-market strategies. In 2005, Adrian envisioned Marketing Operations as a rapidly emerging discipline and published one of the first papers on the topic, The 5Ts of Marketing Operations which was reprinted in several publications. She has appeared on Bloomberg TV, CNBC and contributed to Fast Company, Forbes and Harvard Business Review. In 2014 she was recognized by the Dean of the Harvard Business School and the alumni association as a key inspirational leader in Northern California. Her bestselling book, The 24-Hour Customer, won best business book of the year awards in 2011 and her latest book is called, Exponential Influence®: Designing Digital Habits That Engage Distracted Customer.

Sheryl Root, Associate Professor, Carnegie Mellon University
Sheryl Root is a member of the faculty at Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley where she teaches Agile Marketing and the Project and Process Management Courses to graduate students. Before joining the faculty, she was Director, Marketing Services at Applied Materials and previously was with HP for 20 years having served as director of Business Strategy, director of Marketing Operations for Services, Director of the Software Initiative and Manager of Unix environments. She led internal teams of consultants in advancing software engineering and business management process practices within Hewlett-Packard worldwide, specializing in the area of software. Sheryl completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California and obtained her master’s degree in business from Stanford University. She is on the Board of Advisors for the Stanford Business School Sloan Program and is a member of the board for WITI (Women in Technology, International).

Dave Lloyd, Senior Manager of Global Search Marketing, Adobe
Dave & his team were pioneers in using Agile principles in Adobe’s internal marketing operations. He is a Certified ScrumMaster and has written and spoken on Agile Marketing. In his role as Senior Manager of Global Search Marketing at Adobe, he leads a global team delivering organic search, site search, and app store search strategies, aligned closely with all digital & media channels. His team uses the Adobe Marketing Cloud to deliver KPI-driven results including global subscriptions, trials, sales leads, and revenue. Previously, he built & led Cisco’s Global SEO Strategy for all products. He received his Business degree from U.C. Davis, writes monthly for ClickZ and Adobe’s Digital Marketing blog, and is a repeat speaker at industry events including Pubcon, Clickz, PR News, Ad Tech, Direct Marketing Association, SMX, and Adobe Summit.

WIC/SVAMA MEETING CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

All registrants of this meeting will receive an e-mail reminding them of the upcoming event and confirming their registration. You may request a refund up to noon on the Friday prior to the meeting. After Friday at noon, no refunds will be issued. While we understand special circumstances, we request your cooperation with this policy in order to help us plan meals accurately with the venue and make the most of membership funds.

All requests for cancellation or refund must be sent to us by the Friday prior to the event at 12 noon. We would appreciate hearing from any registrant regarding a cancellation even up to the day of the event.
