About the Panelists

Narina Sippy – VP, Strategic Alliances, Causata has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the enterprise software business, specializing in go-to-market strategy and programs designed to help companies capitalize on fast growth and new market opportunities. Currently, she leads the strategic alliances and business development activities at Causataa. During her double tenure at SAP, she held senior management positions in marketing, solutions and corporate communications where she established company’s brand and marketing leadership in Americas. As the GM of a key analytics product line, she led acquisitions, product development, strategic alliances and go-to-market delivering annual license revenues of more than 100M€. Prior to SAP, she held several management positions at Siebel Systems during the company's rapid expansion, first as Vice President of Industry Solutions and later as Vice President of Product Planning and Operations.

Joe Nicholson is Vice President of Marketing at Datameer and a veteran software marketing executive with extensive analytics experience at both startups and publicly traded companies. Prior to Datameer, he served as the vice president of product marketing at open source BI leader Pentaho as well as vice president of marketing at compliance and risk management solutions provider Trintech, having joined Trintech as part of its acquisition of Movaris in 2008. Nicholson also served as vice president of marketing and business development at DecisionPoint Software that was acquired by Teradata and served as vice president of platform marketing at Informatica. Earlier in his career, he spent 10 years focused on geographic information systems software with companies such as Autodesk and Strategic Mapping.

Amit Sinha is the VP and head of Database & Technology Product Marketing org at SAP where he led the market introduction of in-memory computing technology across database, data-warehouse analytical applications markets. Prior to this, he drove SAP’s evolution from enterprise software within a company boundary walls to build a new category of software for business and consumer networks. He also headed marketing activities for SAP Premier Network, the community of SAP’s top 400 customers world-wide. He was one of the founding team members of SAP NetWeaver, driving customer adoption of SAP’s technology platform. Amit is a graduate of the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and Indian Institute of Technology at Bombay, India and is passionate about impact of technology on business.

Moderator: Piyanka Jain is the founder and CEO of Aryng, and is a well-regarded industry thought leader in analytics, keynoting at business and analytics conferences including Predictive Analytics World, Data Science Summit, TDWI Big Data Conference, Google Analytics User Conference, Business Performance conference on data driven decision making in an organization. With her 15 years of experience in analytics, she has had $100M+ demonstrated impact on business. Her prior roles include the head of NA Business Analytics at PayPal and senior marketing analytics position with Adobe.
