PHILIPPE PIERI, Senior Manager, Global Digital Marketing Operations, Cisco.com
Philippe Pieri is a 12-year veteran at Cisco where, as Senior Manager of Global Digital Marketing, he currently drives Cisco.com's global digital marketing footprint outside the US, spanning over 80 country web sites in 41 languages. His daily challenge is to carefully balance and arbitrate the needs for global consistency and local relevancy. Philippe oversees all aspects of global digital operations surrounding web publishing and operations, maintenance of OneVoiceWeb (a central body of localized content), local content, global processes and guidelines, brand compliance, adoption of digital innovations and tools, measurements, and overall performance. His role includes the management of a globally distributed digital services organization blending onshore, offshore and near-shore operations, and the integration of standard marketing tactics such as Search Engine Optimization (SE0) and Social Media. In addition, he works on optimizing Cisco.com for performance excellence on mobile devices. Philippe is a graduate of Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne in France with a focus and passion for education, technology and communication. Prior to his career at Cisco, Philippe occupied various leadership positions in the digital world as director of technology for an international school and for a search startup, then co-founding a successful e-commerce company. Early on in his life, Philippe was an educator and a journalist in daily and periodical newspapers. A resident of the San Francisco Bay Area for 25 years, he is originally from France.


AILEEN NANDI, Business Development,  U.S. Commercial Services (Silicon Valley Export Assistance Center)

Aileen is a seasoned leader with over 13 years of international business experience, managing teams of up to 13 employees with diverse backgrounds, I help U.S. companies achieve their business goals in foreign markets. Prior to her current post in San Jose, Aileen worked in the U.S. Commercial Services on the India desk in both Chennai and Kolkata.  Her prior role was with the Trade and Development Agency and she currently specializes in help in US Cloud  Computing and Digital companies “go global”. A graduate of both Georgetown University and the University of Richmond, Aileen was a Fulbright Scholar at Technische Universität Dresden in Germany.

LUCIE NEWCOMB has more than 25 years experience in successful marketing and international business development for corporations, start-ups, and non-profit organizations. Her expertise in emerging markets and experience on four continents, includes leading the market entry and establishment of a leading Johnson & Johnson company in Africa.  Her company, The NewComm Global Group, assists U.S. companies in establishing and embedding their brands and revenue streams overseas and facilitates the U.S. market entry of foreign companies into Silicon Valley via the CONNECT-SV initiative.  Beyond the typical “launch and drop” scenario, Lucie and NewComm Global work to help companies deepen their organizational capacity for scaling and global expansion ,as well as generating short-term results, through effective cross-cultural and change management capacity-building. A graduate of both U.C. Berkeley and Saint Mary’s College of California, Lucie is fluent in French.
